Courtesy Automobiles

Mississippi State University has tax reporting responsibilities regarding automobiles provided to MSU employees. MSU reports the value of the courtesy automobile on Form W-2. Information relating to the type of automobile and the personal use mileage must be provided by the employee to the Tax Compliance Officer in order to determine the amount of income to be reported on Form W-2.
